The house was constructed by local sawmiller, Peter Cunningham, in 1981 and renovated in 2024. It features Tasmanian specialty timbers including Huon Pine, King Billy Pine, Blackwood, Celery Top Pine, and Black Heart Sassafras. It’s situated on a ridge overlooking Narawntapu National Park and this is best viewed from the four outdoor baths or the wood fired sauna.
